The Baltic countries have condemned Russia's latest attacks on Ukraine
The Baltic states have condemned the latest wave of Russian strikes on Ukrainian cities. The attacks killed 16 people and injured dozens more.
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna and Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braže commented on a post by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga regarding the Russian attack on April 15–16.
Tsakna expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased and all those affected. "These are deliberate strikes against civilians, against children. Residential buildings and entire neighborhoods are being deliberately targeted, not by accident… The response must be clear—more support for Ukraine, more pressure on Russia, and full accountability for these crimes,” he stated.
Over the past day and night, Russia carried out a massive terrorist attack against Ukraine with nearly 700 drones, dozens of ballistic and cruise missiles.
The attack primarily targeted civilians.

"This must stop. What is needed now is continued support for Ukraine, immediate tougher sanctions against Russia, and accountability for its war crimes," said Baiba Braže.
"There is something profoundly wrong with how quickly a night like this becomes 'just another attack'... Every failure to act has its price—today, it’s specific names, birthdates, and cities," responded Inga Toločkienė, Lithuania’s ambassador to Ukraine.
There is something profoundly wrong with how quickly a night like this will become “another attack.” Nearly 700 drones & missiles launched, cities across the country under fire, civilians killed, children among them❗️.
