Stray Kids' Bang Chan donates 200 million won for Nepal — Korea Herald
In South Korea, Stray Kids leader Bang Chan donated 200 million won, or about $144,295, for rehabilitation assistance and community recovery following large-scale floods in Nepal. This was reported by The Korea Herald, citing JYP Entertainment.
Assistance for a hospital and Nepal
The musician transferred 100 million won each to Seoul Rehabilitation Hospital and the Korean Committee for UNICEF. The funds for the hospital will be used to establish specialized rehabilitation centers tailored to patients' ages and medical needs.
The donation to the Korean Committee for UNICEF will be directed toward restoring communities affected by the recent major floods in Nepal. In a JYP Entertainment release, Bang Chan said he wanted to offer at least some support to people going through exhausting and difficult times and expressed hope for their swift return to normal life.

Previous donations
Bang Chan has also supported charitable initiatives before. On his birthday, October 3 last year, he donated 100 million won each to Samsung Medical Center to cover children's treatment costs and to UNICEF in South Korea to help children around the world.
In 2024, the artist donated 100 million won to the Community Chest of Korea to support people with developmental disabilities and became a member of its Honor Society for major donors. In 2025, he and other Stray Kids members joined relief efforts following forest fires in North and South Gyeongsang provinces.
