Four NLC employees killed near Pakistan-Iran border — Dawn
In Pakistan’s Gwadar district, unidentified armed men shot dead four employees of the National Logistics Cell (NLC) who were travelling in a pickup truck near the border with Iran. Dawn reports, citing police.
Attack near a border post
According to police, the attack occurred on Saturday near border post No. 250, about 60 kilometres from the Jiwani tehsil in Gwadar district. Armed attackers on motorcycles opened fire on the pickup truck carrying the four NLC employees.
After the shooting, the attackers set the vehicle on fire, and it burned completely. Police said the employees were reportedly transporting a large amount of cash, which the attackers likely took after the attack.

Identities of the victims
The deceased were 24-year-old Ghulam Mustafa from Layyah district in Punjab province, 34-year-old Sanam Masih from Sheikhupura district, 36-year-old Kanwal Shehzad from Quetta, and 26-year-old Danish Iqbal from Karak district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Law enforcement officers found a motorcycle at the attack site. Police believe it may have been left behind by the attackers.
