Suspect wounded near Ma'ale Gilboa in Israel
One person was wounded near Ma'ale Gilboa in northern Israel during a subsequent attempt to detain suspects. As reported by the Jerusalem Post, a confrontation between several Palestinians and Israeli settlers had occurred there beforehand.

According to the publication, a group of Palestinians allegedly threw stones at a shepherd. Israel Defense Forces soldiers arrived at the scene and attempted to detain people suspected of throwing stones.

During the first attempt to detain them, the soldiers fired shots into the air. Later, as they continued trying to detain the suspects, one of them was wounded by a shot to the lower body. The injured person was taken from the scene by ambulance.
Review of circumstances
According to a preliminary assessment, the shepherd was in a pasture and left it after the suspects began throwing stones. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated. They are also to be reviewed by the commander of the Israel Defense Forces' Menashe Brigade.
