Belarus has unveiled the Ross electronic warfare system, which features artificial intelligence
Belarus is finalizing the development of the "Ross" automated command post, which is designed to integrate electronic warfare and radio monitoring capabilities into a single system using artificial intelligence technologies.
It is stated that the system is designed to control radio monitoring assets, as well as jamming systems for communication channels, data transmission, and satellite navigation. One of the main features of the system is the integration of artificial intelligence algorithms.
According to the developers, “Ross” is capable of detecting sources of radio emissions, predicting changes in the radio-electronic environment, and automatically selecting jamming modes without creating interference for its own communication channels.
A separate function of the system is focused on countering unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The system receives data from radio-frequency airspace monitoring assets, which allows for the timely detection of UAVs, the prediction of their flight paths, and the identification of the most effective countermeasures.

The State Committee for Military Industry also notes that the use of an intelligent platform makes it possible to automate a significant portion of analytical and computational processes, reducing the workload on operators and accelerating decision-making.
In addition, the system is designed to adapt to changes in the electronic warfare environment in real time and optimally distribute the workload among suppression assets.
At the same time, the claimed capabilities of the system have not yet been independently verified, and information regarding its effectiveness in real combat conditions has not been disclosed.
