One of the members of the Yekaterinburg “Fedorovich Gang,” which has been linked to a series of murders, kidnappings, and robberies, hid in Belarus for years under an assumed name and became a well-known horror writer.
We are talking about Semyon Yermolinsky, who, after fleeing Russia, settled in Minsk using forged documents under the name Andrei Miller.
Under his new name, he began writing horror novels, gained popularity among readers, and was even nominated for the “Masters of Horror” award, earning him the unofficial nickname “the Belarusian Stephen King.”
In 2023, the man died in a rented apartment. After his death, the apartment’s owner discovered his real passport.
DNA testing confirmed that the writer and the wanted member of a criminal group were one and the same person.
As a reminder, Belarus has begun military exercises simulating the use of nuclear weapons.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia is attempting to draw Belarus deeper into the war against Ukraine and is considering new scenarios for aggression from its territory.
