British Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson announced that his cancer is in remission
Jeremy Clarkson, the popular British TV host and star of the car shows “Top Gear” and “The Grand Tour,” has announced that he is in complete remission following treatment for a complex form of cancer.
Doctors conducted follow-up tests two months after his treatment and found no signs of cancer.
In a video message, the 66-year-old host said he currently feels like “the happiest man in the world.”
He sincerely thanked the medical staff who diagnosed the disease in time and urged men to undergo regular checkups.
According to the star, it was early diagnosis that helped him begin effective treatment in time and fully overcome the dangerous disease.
Jeremy Clarkson candidly shared his feelings about the complexity of his diagnosis and emphasized the seriousness of the situation.
“I’ve cheated death twice. It was an aggressive type of cancer. It could have spread, it could have reached the pancreas, it could have gone anywhere, and that would have been a problem,” the host said in a video message.
The TV star was diagnosed with prostate cancer in May of this year, after which the tumor was successfully removed.
