Democrats in the US House of Representatives have begun outlining a healthcare agenda in the event that they manage to regain control of the chamber after the November 3 midterm elections. STAT News reports.

According to the outlet, the outlines of this agenda began taking shape during the week when the House of Representatives was in session in Washington. These are proposals Democrats are considering in the event of victory and regaining control of the chamber.

House of Representatives schedule

House Republicans canceled the final two weeks of their September session. According to STAT News calculations, this means members of the House of Representatives will have at least 15 weeks of recess between Memorial Day and the midterm elections scheduled for November 3.
