J.D. Vance stated that the Antichrist may already be among us
U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance suggested that the Antichrist may already be among us. At the same time, the American politician emphasized that he tries not to focus excessively on the topic of “the end times,” since, in his opinion, this could be spiritually harmful.
According to the U.S. vice president, he has long been interested in the topic of biblical prophecies and the possible approach of the end times. However, Vance does not claim that humanity is already living in this period.
“It seems to me that such things are happening in the world that I wouldn’t be surprised if the Antichrist were already walking among us. But, again, I try not to dwell on it too much,” said the U.S. vice president.
Vance explained that instead of constantly dwelling on apocalyptic scenarios, he tries to focus on his daily responsibilities.
“I have to be a good husband. I have to be a good father. I have to be the best leader I can be for the United States of America,” he noted.
At the same time, the politician added that he wouldn’t be surprised if the world were already in the “end times,” but he considers it more important to do everything possible for the greater good right now.
“I try to focus on doing as much of God’s work as possible right now. And if that leads to the end times—fine. And if it leads to us building a better world that will thrive and endure long after I’m gone—that’s wonderful, too,” Vance said.
The conversation took place against the backdrop of the release of Vance’s book about his journey to the Catholic faith. During the interview, he also spoke about artificial intelligence, spirituality, and his views on religious issues.

Vance made these remarks in an interview with evangelical podcaster Bryce Crawford.
As a reminder, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance, commenting on reports that four people, including a child, were killed during a wedding in southern Iran, stated that “sometimes these things happen.” He said he is skeptical of the reports regarding this incident.
