The Philippines has declared a state of emergency in the energy sector due to the war in the Middle East
Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has declared a "national energy emergency" in the country due to risks to fuel supplies and the stability of the power grid amid the war in the Middle East.

The decree states that the decision was made due to an “imminent threat to the availability and stability of energy supplies.”
The Philippine government fears disruptions in energy supplies and rising fuel prices, which could negatively impact the country’s economy.
Iran has continued missile strikes on Israel, despite Trump’s statements about negotiations.
Iranian media report on U.S. and Israeli attacks on energy infrastructure in the cities of Isfahan and Khorramshahr. According to the Iranian Fars news agency, gas supply facilities and a gas pipeline were targeted. There were no civilian casualties.
Iran has announced“surprises” for the U.S. and Israel in the coming days.
As a reminder, the U.S. and Israel have different objectives in the war with Iran.
Israel also bombed a port from which Iran was supplying weapons to Russia.
