Harry and Meghan spent $1.2 million on a private flight to the UK
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, along with their two children and pets, flew from California to the United Kingdom on a private jet.
According to Page Six, the family used the services of the private airline Planet 9.
The cost of chartering the plane is estimated at about $12,000 per hour. Given the approximately 10-hour flight, the couple may have spent about $1.2 million on a single trip.
Reportedly, the family chose a private jet specifically to transport their dogs—a Labrador and a beagle—to the United Kingdom. The Bombardier Global Express XRS jet seats 13 passengers, has two bathrooms, and offers five sleeping berths.
Next week, Harry and Meghan’s children—Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet—are set to begin school in England.
