Iran is placing quotes from the Spanish prime minister on missiles used in attacks on Israel — El Mundo

The Iranian government has used Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez’s anti-war statements to brand its own weapons.

This was reported by El Mundo.

Stickers featuring a photograph of the Spanish politician and his remarks on the war have appeared on missiles prepared to strike Israeli territory.

The official Iranian news agency Tasnim released footage of the missiles, stating that they “will soon be launched toward the occupied territories.”

In addition to the prime minister’s portrait, the munitions bear inscriptions in English and Farsi thanking the head of the Spanish government.

The text on the stickers quotes a speech by Sánchez delivered during the recent European Union summit in Brussels: “Of course, this war is not only illegal, but also inhumane.” The propagandists also added their own phrase: “Thank you, Mr. Prime Minister.”

The state-run Press TV channel, which is closely linked to the Iranian regime, went a step further and published a video showing the process of applying these stickers.

As a reminder, Iran reported strikes by the U.S. and Israel on energy facilities.

Iran has also been weakened by the strikes, but the regime is holding on.
