Iranian ships have begun passing through the U.S. naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz — Tasnim

Iranian tankers and dry cargo ships have begun to pass freely through the U.S. naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz following an agreement between Tehran and Washington.

Three oil tankers and two commercial ships carrying essential goods have already successfully crossed the U.S. military control line.

This step marks the first tangible result of the large-scale peace agreement signed the day before, which is intended to unblock international shipping in the region.

According to the Iranian news agency Tasnim, one of the vessels that passed through the checkpoint is a strategic-class supertanker.

Currently, this giant vessel is steadily navigating international waters toward Iranian civilian ports.

Another vessel, fully loaded with crude oil, has already successfully passed through the Gulf of Oman and is heading to its final destination.

In addition to fuel tankers, a large dry cargo ship carrying essential livestock feed is also heading toward Iran.

A historic peace agreement between the U.S. and Iran was officially reached on June 15.

U.S. President Donald Trump publicly stated that he had decided to allow the opening of the Strait of Hormuz and the complete lifting of the long-standing blockade of Iran’s seaports.

The American leader emphasized that all necessary safety conditions have been established for the civilian and commercial fleets.

“They are traveling along the southern ‘main route,’ which is completely safe, reliable, and free of obstacles. There are other routes available as well,” White House Chief Donald Trump clearly stated, commenting on the resumption of shipping traffic.

Tasnim reports this.
