Israel attacked Iranian weapons production facilities in Tehran

Last night, Israeli Air Force fighter jets carried out a series of airstrikes on several Iranian weapons production facilities in Tehran.

This was reported by The Times of Israel.

More than 80 bombs were dropped on the targets. According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the targeted facilities included a factory producing long-range anti-aircraft missiles, a plant manufacturing components for anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles, and a complex for the research, development, and production of engines for ballistic missiles.

The Israeli military reported that the intensity of strikes on Iranian military industrial facilities is increasing: about 40 facilities have been attacked over the past two days.

Earlier, Israeli Defense Minister Katz warned that the country’s strikes against Iran would become more powerful and target new sites. This is a response to Iran’s continued missile attacks on Israel’s civilian population. The country’s leadership promises that Iran will “pay a high and rising price” for these crimes.

Israel has killed Ali Reza Tangsi, the commander of the Naval Forces of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. According to media reports, he was involved in plans to close the Strait of Hormuz, one of the key maritime routes for international trade.
