In China, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said that the country seeks to ensure the security and stability of global industrial chains and supply chains for critical minerals. He said this on Monday at a regular media briefing in Beijing, ECNS reports.
Question about rare earth elements
The question to the spokesperson concerned a statement by a U.S. official. According to him, China has not fully resumed supplies of rare earth elements, although it agreed to do so during previous summits between the leaders of the two countries.

Agreements between China and the United States
Guo Jiakun said that China and the United States should jointly implement the important agreements reached by the two presidents. According to him, this should help maintain stable momentum in bilateral economic and trade ties.
