Coalition pledges decisive response to Houthi attacks in Saudi Arabia
The Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen described Houthi attacks on the Saudi cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jizan and Najran as a dangerous escalation. According to the coalition’s official spokesperson, Major General Turki al-Maliki, 73 civilians, including women and children, were injured in the attacks, Asharq Al-Awsat reports.
Statement by the coalition representative
Al-Maliki condemned the actions of the Houthis, whom the coalition describes as an Iran-backed group. He said that attempts to strike Saudi Arabia, its national resources, citizens and residents demonstrate the group’s hostile and irresponsible approach.
According to the coalition representative, the latest attacks targeted civilian and economic facilities in Saudi Arabia. He called them a violation of the kingdom’s sovereignty and a direct threat to the security of its citizens and residents.

Response measures
Al-Maliki said that the Coalition Forces Joint Command would take all necessary operational measures to deter the group and counter its actions. According to him, such measures are intended to protect Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, its national resources and the security of the population.
The coalition command also plans to take measures in response to the sources of the threat and neutralize its danger, the representative added.
