Kuwait has resumed air traffic following the Iranian attacks

Kuwait has reopened its airspace to civilian aviation following a temporary closure that was implemented this morning amid Iranian attacks on U.S. bases.

According to the country’s General Directorate of Civil Aviation, the international airport has resumed normal operations, and air traffic has returned to its regular schedule.

The Civil Aviation Authority is "closely monitoring the situation around the clock," the statement said.

Kuwait International Airport has now returned to normal operations.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that on Thursday morning, they carried out an attack targeting U.S. air bases in Kuwait, Jordan, and Bahrain. This came after the U.S. announced strikes on several targets in Iran.

This is the second day in a row that Iran has attacked American bases in the region in response to U.S. strikes.

The day before, U.S. President Donald Trump announced significant progress in negotiations with Tehran, noting that as part of a potential agreement, Iran could transfer its highly enriched uranium to the United States.
