Lukashenko traveled to meet with Kim Jong-un to sign a "friendship treaty"

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko began an official visit to North Korea on March 25 to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

This was reported by Belarusian state media.

Upon arrival, he was greeted with a bouquet of flowers, a red carpet, an honor guard, and children waving flags. The visit will last from Wednesday to Thursday at the invitation of the North Korean leader.

The central event of the trip will be talks between the two heads of state. They plan to discuss the full range of areas for developing relations between Belarus and the DPRK, identify key areas of mutual interest, and select the most promising projects for implementation.

During the visit, the parties intend to sign a “friendship treaty” between Belarus and North Korea.

The North Korean regime faces a difficult choice amid the White House’s radical actions in the Middle East and Latin America.

As a reminder, Iran denied involvement in the shelling of Nakhchivan following a phone call between the presidents.

Additionally, U.S. intelligence doubts that a war would lead to the overthrow of the regime in Iran.
