Lukashenko stated that Trump listened to him and began withdrawing from Iran
During the opening of a new municipal clinic in Minsk, Belarus’s self-proclaimed president, Alexander Lukashenko, stated that U.S. President Donald Trump had heeded his advice regarding the situation surrounding Iran and had begun to “quietly back away” from the conflict.
Lukashenko’s ramblings were reported by “Pool of the First.”
“The Americans are doing well. They’ve started doing what I advised Trump to do during our last talks. I can say this today. The Jews came to him—the Israelis—talking about the Holocaust, having forgotten everything else; they leveled Gaza, children died there, people died—and they started urging him to go to war against Iran. He went along with it. What to do now? I tell them: ‘Israel wanted to fight Iran—let them fight. Let them fight; why are you getting involved? You’ll just bury your own people there,’” Lukashenko stated.
He added that American casualties in the war have begun to influence public opinion in the U.S., and already two-thirds disapprove of this adventure.
“And the coffins have slowly begun arriving in America. And society has been outraged... That’s why I say: ‘Tell Donald to let Israel fight Iran. Then we’ll see what happens,’” Lukashenko said.
After that, according to him, “common sense prevailed” and Trump is “slowly but surely pulling out of there.”
“You hear these statements: ‘We bombed them there,’ ‘We killed them with a missile,’ ‘We’ll take the uranium tomorrow.’ But the main thing is oil: ‘We’ll seize Khark Island.’ This island is hundreds of kilometers from the Strait of Hormuz; it has no impact whatsoever on the passage of ships there. But the Americans have started to quietly pull out of there. I’m sure the Jews will realize they got themselves into the wrong place,” the Belarusian “peacemaker” said.
In reality, U.S. President Donald Trump has once again pushed back the deadline by which Iran must conclude an agreement with Washington on American terms. The Iranians have only two days left.
The Iranian military reported a drone strike on a ship linked to Israel in the Strait of Hormuz. The MSC Ishyka caught fire after the attack.
The Israeli military reports airstrikes on Beirut. Command centers of the Quds Force (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) and Hezbollah headquarters were hit.
