The Ministry of Social Policy does not plan to revoke the travel permit for men under the age of 23
Ukraine is not currently negotiating with international partners regarding the lifting of the ban on men under the age of 23 traveling abroad.
This was reported by Forbes Ukraine.
Social Policy Minister Denys Ulyutin made this statement, emphasizing that the relevant decision has already been made and is not up for review.
According to the minister, European partners estimate that following the introduction of the permit, approximately 400,000 Ukrainian men in this age group could have traveled to EU countries. At the same time, the Ukrainian side does not maintain separate statistics and cannot confirm these figures.
Consultations are also ongoing with European countries regarding approaches to the continued stay of Ukrainians after the temporary protection regime ends in the first quarter of 2027.
