Muslim World League condemns Houthi strikes on Saudi Arabia
The Muslim World League condemned Houthi attacks on the cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha and Taif in Saudi Arabia. According to the Saudi Press Agency, as cited by Asharq Al-Awsat, civilians were injured in the ballistic missile and drone strikes, while several residential buildings and vehicles were also damaged.
Organization’s statement
In a statement, the General Secretariat of the Muslim World League said that its secretary-general and chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Mohammed Al-Issa, once again condemned these attacks.
According to him, such strikes contradict religious values, international and humanitarian law, as well as international norms.

Solidarity with Saudi Arabia
Al-Issa also reaffirmed the organization’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia. He expressed support for the kingdom’s measures aimed at deterring aggression and protecting the security of the country, its citizens and residents.
The report notes that the Muslim World League issued the statement following reports of continued attacks on Saudi cities.
