Cyprus forecasts up to 38°C and possible brief thunderstorms in the Troodos Mountains
Cyprus is expected to see mostly clear weather, although cloud cover may increase over the Troodos Mountains in the afternoon. Isolated showers and brief thunderstorms are possible there. This was reported by Cyprus Mail, citing the Meteorological Service.
Temperatures by region
The highest air temperature is expected in Nicosia, at around 38 degrees. Forecasts call for up to 34 degrees in Larnaca and Limassol, up to 32 in Kyrenia, up to 31 in Paphos, and up to 29 degrees in Troodos.
In other parts of the island, weather conditions are expected to remain stable, according to forecasters. The sky will be mostly clear at night, although low cloud cover and patches of fog are possible later, mainly in Nicosia and Famagusta.

Forecast for the coming days
At night, temperatures will fall to around 19 degrees in Nicosia and Troodos, and to 21 degrees in Limassol and Paphos. Similar calm weather is expected in Cyprus through Tuesday, although isolated precipitation is possible in mountainous areas in the afternoon.
According to meteorologists, temperatures will not change significantly the following day, and by Tuesday they will decrease slightly and approach the seasonal norm.
