Two suspects detained in Cyprus over kidnapping of 18-year-old in Limassol
In Limassol, Cyprus, police detained two people aged 24 and 23 who are suspected of kidnapping an 18-year-old. As Cyprus Mail reports, the arrests took place on Monday evening after a report of an incident in a park.
Incident in the park
According to police, at around 20:00, two people approached the 18-year-old in a Limassol park and allegedly forced him into a car. He reported that he was taken to another location, where he was threatened over financial disputes.

Investigation
After receiving information about a possible kidnapping, law enforcement officers located the car and the people mentioned in the report. The two suspects and the 18-year-old were taken to Limassol police station for questioning.
Arrest warrants were obtained for the two suspects. They are to be brought before Limassol District Court for consideration of their detention. Police are investigating possible conspiracy to commit a serious crime, kidnapping, extortion and money laundering.
