Six new ambassadors sworn in in the UAE
In Abu Dhabi, UAE, President Sheikh Mohamed held a swearing-in ceremony for six newly appointed ambassadors of the country. The diplomats will represent the Emirates in Jordan, Togo, Hungary, Rwanda, Guyana and Tajikistan, The National reports.
New diplomatic appointments
Sultan Al Shamsi, appointed UAE ambassador to Jordan; Ghanem Al Falahi, to Togo; Rashid Al Tunaiji, to Hungary; Ali Al Zaabi, to Rwanda; Muhannad Al Naqbi, to Guyana; and Nasser Al Ketbi, to Tajikistan, took the oath.
The president wished the diplomats success in carrying out their duties and strengthening cooperation with their host countries. According to the state news agency Wam, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, also attended the ceremony.

Presentation of credentials
Sheikh Mohamed also received credentials from 18 newly appointed ambassadors to the UAE. They included representatives of Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Austria, Ireland, Slovenia and Lithuania.
Ambassadors of South Korea, Mauritania, Gabon, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, the Maldives, the Marshall Islands and Haiti also presented their credentials.
