Copies of BTS's single Swim are being sold on the Chinese online marketplace Temu, which Seo Kyoung-duk, a professor at Sungshin Women's University, called unauthorized and an infringement of intellectual property rights. This was reported by The Korea Herald.

According to Seo Kyoung-duk, he checked the information about the sales after receiving reports from the BTS ARMY fan community. The professor posted an Instagram screenshot of the listing for the single on Temu.
Seo Kyoung-duk noted that Swim is officially sold only through authorized distributors, including Weverse Shop. In his view, the marketplace should not allow the sale of illegal goods, even if it only provides a platform for third-party sellers.

The professor also mentioned similar cases in March. At that time, major Chinese online platforms were selling illegal products after a BTS show marking the return to Gwanghwamun went viral.
According to the professor, T-shirts and other accessories featuring the illegal use of the Arirang logo were also sold on Taobao and AliExpress. Seo Kyoung-duk called for an end to profiting from the illegal sale of other people's content.
