The largest children's goods chain in Russia is asking for a rent reduction due to losses

Russia’s largest retailer of children’s goods, “Detsky Mir,” has asked shopping centers to reduce rent by 10–50%. According to Russian media reports, some landlords are agreeing to concessions, while others are terminating leases and closing the chain’s stores.

The company attributes the revision of lease terms to a decline in shopping center foot traffic, market changes, and other economic factors. In 2025, “Detsky Mir” reported a net loss of 7.8 billion rubles after posting a profit the previous year.

This is reported by Russian propaganda media.

Environmental damage caused by Russia’s aggression has increased by 50 billion hryvnias in one week.

As of June 23, the total confirmed environmental damage to Ukraine resulting from Russia’s full-scale aggression has already exceeded 7 trillion hryvnias. Between June 12 and 19, 2026, environmental losses increased by more than 51.9 billion hryvnias.

In the city of Chuhuiv, Kharkiv Oblast, environmental contamination by petroleum products was recorded as a result of a Russian drone attack on a local oil depot.

Experts from the Kyiv Region Specialized Environmental Prosecutor’s Office are assessing the extent of environmental damage caused by Russian terrorists’ shelling of the Trypillya Thermal Power Plant.
