NATO set up an underground command center in the London Underground during the Arcade Strike exercise

NATO conducted an unusual command-post exercise called "Arcade Strike" in central London, transforming the closed platforms of a former subway line, located about 26 meters underground, into an underground command center.

This was reported by The Aviationist.

As part of the exercises, approximately 500 military personnel from 21 countries coordinated the actions of over 100,000 troops on land, in the air, at sea, underwater, and in space, based on a 2030 conflict scenario. The main goal of the exercises was to test the ability of modern command centers to survive and function under conditions of constant aerial surveillance, satellite reconnaissance, and strikes on critical infrastructure.

Due to technological advances in detection capabilities, militaries around the world are increasingly abandoning traditional tent camps in favor of urban infrastructure, particularly tunnels and underground complexes, which are much more difficult to detect and destroy. Inside an abandoned subway station, specialists have set up a full-fledged data processing center capable of handling over 10 terabytes of information daily. To accelerate the target detection and engagement chain during exercises, the ASGARD analytical system, built on automation and artificial intelligence, was deployed.

Russia may attack Europe when China invades Taiwan, according to the NATO Secretary General.

Before meeting with the American delegation—comprising U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner—Dictator Putin stated that Russia is allegedly ready to go to war with Europe but has no such intention.

In the event of a Russian attack on NATO members, the Alliance could launch a preemptive strike against targets on Russian territory, according to NATO Military Committee Chairman Admiral Rob Bauer.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy considers it entirely possible that Russia could open a second front against another European country even before the war in Ukraine ends.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the Russian army could attack a NATO member state within the next five years. This would test the Alliance’s resilience.
