The U.S. National Guard has received Anduril mobile systems to counter drones
The U.S. National Guard has received state-of-the-art mobile anti-drone systems from Anduril. The new equipment is designed to protect critical infrastructure, military installations, and other key sites from airborne threats.
The systems were transferred to the Washington State National Guard following the completion of training exercises at Camp Murray. They enable military personnel to detect, track, and assess threats associated with the unauthorized use of drones.
The Pentagon notes that the widespread availability of commercial drones poses increasing risks to airports, energy infrastructure, military bases, and areas with large crowds. One of the factors accelerating the deployment of such systems was the experience of the war in Ukraine, where even inexpensive civilian UAVs significantly influenced the nature of combat operations.
The Anduril mobile system integrates several types of sensors into a single network. It includes the Long Range Camera Tower for long-range visual surveillance, the WISP detector for identifying small and low-flying drones, a Pulsar radio-frequency sensor that pinpoints the location of a drone and its operator, and the Lattice artificial intelligence platform, which analyzes the collected data and automatically assesses the threat level.
Thanks to the system, operators will be able to quickly exchange information with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and law enforcement agencies.

As a reminder, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Kyiv and Washington are close to concluding a large-scale agreement on the joint production of drones. As part of the agreement, Ukraine plans to establish a large drone manufacturing plant in the United States.
