The Palestinian Commission Against Colonization and the Wall said that since October 7, 2023, Israeli military personnel and settlers have carried out 62,916 attacks against Palestinians, their land and property in the occupied West Bank of the Jordan River in Palestine, including East Jerusalem. This was reported by Anadolu Agency.

Casualties and property damage

The commission claims that 66 Palestinians were killed as a result of settler attacks. It also documented 1,182 fires targeting Palestinian land and property. According to its estimates, 147,111 trees were uprooted or damaged during this period, including more than 100,000 olive trees.

The report also states that settlers attempted to establish 211 new pastoral outposts, while the attacks affected 376 Palestinian villages and communities.

Demolitions and settlements

Israeli authorities, according to the commission, carried out 1,814 demolition operations affecting 5,059 structures, including 1,894 inhabited homes. About 64,200 dunams of Palestinian land were seized through military orders and declarations of areas as “state land.” The commission described this pace of seizure as the highest in three decades.

In addition, the report refers to the advancement of 415 plans for Israeli settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, providing for tens of thousands of housing units. Israeli authorities also issued 97 tenders for 15,760 additional housing units, including in the E1 area east of Jerusalem. The commission said these measures are accompanied by legislative steps which, in its view, are aimed at de facto annexation.
