The Tisa Party plans to prepare Hungary for entry into the eurozone by 2030

The Hungarian party "Tisza," which won the parliamentary elections, plans to prepare the country for entry into the eurozone by 2030.

This was reported by Telex.

András Karman, the party’s finance policy chief, stated that after taking office, the government will assess the economic situation and hold consultations to determine a target date for the transition to the euro.

According to him, the necessary conditions can be created by 2030, although this timeframe could be shorter.

Among the key factors, he cited ensuring price stability, but emphasized that they do not plan to achieve this through strict government regulation.

The Tisa Party secured a constitutional majority in parliament following the April 12 elections, paving the way for its leader, Péter Magyar, to become prime minister.

Unlike Viktor Orbán, the new government has declared its intention to strengthen cooperation with the EU and NATO.

Mátyás mocked Orbán’s solitary stroll on the terrace of the residence.

Von der Leyen and Magyar discussed the release of EU funds for Hungary.
