Russia's largest chip manufacturer is purchasing licenses from China

Russia's largest electronics holding company, "Element," has begun actively acquiring rights to Chinese technologies.

This was reported by CNews.

According to financial reports, Element-Technologies has signed two contracts with China’s Shijiazhuang Tonhe Electronics to acquire rights to intellectual property. The total amount of advance payments is 99.4 million rubles.

The transfer of rights is expected to take place in the first half of this year.

The Chinese company manufactures high-frequency power supplies, charging systems for electric vehicles, power modules for industrial equipment, as well as solutions for the defense and aerospace industries.

According to sources in the microelectronics market, the deal concerns power modules for 30- and 40-kW fast-charging stations, which is the standard for such systems.
