Petrosol donated 3,600 bags and notebooks to a school in Ghana — MyJoyOnline
Petrosol Platinum Energy donated 600 school bags and 3,000 notebooks to Sawla D/A Primary School in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District of Ghana’s Savannah Region. The assistance was provided as part of social responsibility efforts, MyJoyOnline reports.
Support for the school
In total, the school received 3,600 items of supplies. The company said that the donated bags and notebooks are intended to facilitate teaching and learning, as well as support pupils.
Petrosol Platinum Energy’s Marketing Manager, Philip Boamah Assampong, said the company is giving back to society what it receives through purchases of its fuel and lubricants. He also noted that Petrosol Platinum Energy is a Ghanaian-owned company and that its investments should benefit the people of Ghana.

The school’s response
Sawla D/A Primary headmaster Stephen Wiafe Kwansa thanked the company for the assistance on behalf of the Ghana Education Service. According to him, the donated supplies will help pupils and foster a partnership between the community and Petrosol.
The chairman of the school’s parent-teacher association, Dauda Ibrahim, also asked the company to consider providing additional support in the form of furniture and computers for the educational institution.
