UAE floating hospital in Egypt receives 11 patients from Gaza
The UAE floating hospital in the Egyptian city of Al Arish has received 11 patients evacuated from the Gaza Strip for treatment. Following their arrival, the total number of patients from Gaza treated at the medical complex since the Rafah crossing resumed operations reached 115, The National reports.
Assessment of patients’ condition
After the new patients arrived, specialized medical and nursing teams examined them. An individual treatment plan was prepared for each patient.
The hospital provides specialized medical care to patients and injured Palestinians brought from Gaza. Medical teams also work with complex cases requiring highly specialized intervention.

UAE humanitarian operation
The floating hospital was established as part of the UAE’s Gallant Knight 3 humanitarian operation. Its goal is to support Palestinians and ease the suffering caused by the conflict in Gaza.
The resumption of operations at the Rafah border crossing made it possible to transport patients who need treatment unavailable in Gaza. According to the publication, the enclave’s healthcare system has come under significant strain.
