Poland will change traffic arrangements at the border with Ukraine following shelling from the Russian Federation
Poland is considering changes to traffic management at border crossings with Ukraine following Russian shelling near a border crossing. According to Prime Minister Donald Tusk, this is necessary to speed up border crossings and prevent traffic congestion, which could become a target for further attacks.
The Polish government aims to avoid traffic jams, particularly lines of fuel trucks at border crossings. To optimize traffic flow, plans are in place to expand cooperation between customs officials, border guards, police, the military, and the Ministry of Finance.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga responded to the Russian attack near the “Yagodin” checkpoint on the Ukrainian-Polish border and called on Western partners to act immediately. According to him, Russian aggression is effectively approaching the borders of the European Union and NATO.
