Law enforcement officials have offered a reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the murder of a Ukrainian man in Bali

The international detective agency Focus Security Consulting and Investigations has announced a substantial cash reward for assistance in apprehending those involved in the kidnapping and murder of Ukrainian citizen Igor Komarov.

This is stated in the agency’s press release.

The victim’s family has offered a reward of up to $100,000 for reliable information that will help locate and apprehend the suspects in the crime committed on the island of Bali in February 2026.

At the request of the Indonesian police, Interpol issued red notices for six individuals:

At the same time, the agency emphasizes that the list of suspects may change during the investigation, so the latest information should be verified through official Interpol channels.

Detectives note that a reward is offered for verified information that directly contributes to the apprehension of the suspects. Specifically, this includes:

  • the exact location of the wanted individuals with confirmation (photos, videos, geolocation);
  • information regarding the use of forged documents, travel routes, and funding;
  • audio or video recordings discussing the circumstances of the crime;
  • information about a possible mastermind, if not yet identified;
  • other key details that will assist the investigation.

The agency guarantees complete anonymity to informants.

All reports received undergo thorough verification. The most valuable items are:

  • photos and videos with metadata confirming the time and location;
  • documents tracking the suspects’ movements (tickets, reservations, financial transactions);
  • digital traces—correspondence or messages with verified data;
  • information that can be verified through law enforcement databases.

It is important to note that no reward is paid for rumors or information from open sources without unique evidence. Funds are paid only after the suspects have actually been apprehended.

Information is accepted exclusively via a secure email channel. In-person meetings are not held without prior agreement, and messages on social media are not considered.

The agency also warns: intentionally providing false information with the aim of receiving a reward carries criminal liability.

Detectives have appealed to individuals who may be connected to the suspects or possess relevant information:

“You may continue to hide, bearing equal responsibility with those who tortured and murdered a person, acting as their accomplices. Under Indonesian law, such crimes carry the maximum penalty, up to the death penalty.

But you can also be the first to provide information that leads to the arrest of those truly responsible for the abuse and death of a person, and thereby receive not only a monetary reward but also the opportunity to prove to investigators that you were not involved in these serious crimes.”

The statement also emphasizes that there is no statute of limitations for this crime, and cooperation with the investigation may influence the severity of punishment for those involved.

Bali police have determined that the abduction of Ukrainian citizen Igor Komarov was a meticulously planned crime.

Igor Komarov, whom the media refer to as the son of an influential businessman from Dnipro, disappeared on February 15, 2026, in the Jimbaran area. Subsequently, horrific video footage began to appear online: in the footage, a beaten Komarov begged his relatives to transfer $10 million for his release.

The prolonged search for 28-year-old Ukrainian citizen Igor Komarov ended with official confirmation of his death. The results of the forensic medical examination and DNA analysis conducted at the National Forensic Center in Jakarta proved that the dismembered remains found on February 26 near Ketewel Beach belonged to him.
