Israeli Prime Minister Compares Disagreements with Trump to Family Arguments — CNBC

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has officially confirmed that certain differences of opinion occasionally arise between him and U.S. President Donald Trump.

At the same time, the head of the Israeli government assured that on key and strategic issues of international policy, their positions are fully aligned

The Israeli prime minister noted separately that although he and Trump sometimes have “tactical differences,” they invariably “reach agreement on fundamental issues.”

The leaders of both countries include among these fundamental priorities the complete prevention of Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and the elimination of any threat of their use against the Jewish state.

According to the official, joint coordination between Washington and Tel Aviv on security matters remains as strong as ever, despite minor disagreements.

The Israeli prime minister compared diplomatic relations between the two countries to internal dynamics within a close circle of people. He is convinced that open discussion of problematic issues only strengthens mutual trust between partners on the international stage.

Any misunderstandings are resolved through constant dialogue between the countries’ leadership.

“Sometimes, just like in the best families, we have these tactical differences. But we always find a way to resolve them, and we do so as good friends,” Netanyahu noted.

This was reported by CNBC News.

Trump claimed he saved Israel from destruction

As a reminder, U.S. President Donald Trump’s approval rating among Americans has dropped to nearly its lowest point since his return to the White House.

At the same time, Trump once again repeated the threats he has been making in recent weeks: “If they agree, it’s over; if not, we’ll bomb them.”

Official Tehran refused to participate in the second round of peace talks with the United States, which were to take place in Islamabad.
