President Xi Jinping concludes state visit to Egypt — ECNS
Chinese President Xi Jinping left Cairo on September 2 after completing a state visit to Egypt. During the trip, he held talks with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, ECNS reports.
Presidents’ talks
The leaders of the two states jointly witnessed the signing of several cooperation documents. They concerned cooperation within the Belt and Road Initiative, artificial intelligence, the economy and trade, as well as industry and supply chains.

Museum visit
Before leaving Cairo, Xi Jinping visited the Grand Egyptian Museum together with his wife Peng Liyuan. They were accompanied by Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and his wife Entissar el-Sisi. According to ECNS, the Chinese leader left the Egyptian capital on Wednesday after completing the visit.
