Prince George will begin his studies at Eton College this fall
The eldest son of Prince William and Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales—12-year-old Prince George—will begin his studies at Eton College in September. This was officially announced by the Kensington Palace press office.
The heir to the British royal family’s education at the prestigious all-boys boarding school will cost his parents about 63,000 pounds sterling per year, which is approximately 72,000 euros.
Eton College accepts students starting at age 13. George will meet this requirement, as he will turn 13 in July.
Eton College is considered one of the most prestigious educational institutions in the United Kingdom and has a centuries-old history. Its alumni include numerous politicians, public figures, and members of the British aristocracy.
