Turkey Is Ready to Continue Mediating in Negotiations Between Ukraine and Russia — Fidan
Turkey is ready to continue its mediation efforts to resume the negotiation process between Ukraine and Russia. This was stated by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan during a joint press conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
According to Fidan, Ankara’s top priority remains bringing the parties back to the negotiating table to achieve a peaceful resolution to the war.
The head of Turkish diplomacy emphasized that Turkey will continue to provide comprehensive support for efforts aimed at ending the war and is ready to play any mediating role if it contributes to dialogue between the parties.
In addition to the Ukrainian issue, Fidan also called for the timely implementation of the agreements between Iran and the United States and stressed the importance of maintaining free navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.
