Putin is preparing strict restrictions for Russians, following the example of North Korea
Russian authorities may tighten their control over the internet and impose restrictions similar to those that have long been in place in North Korea. According to forecasts, Russians could lose access to the open internet as they know it within the next two years.
The Russian dictator is emulating the North Korean regime.
In particular, the internet restrictions that Russians will experience over the next two years will completely mirror the system already in place in North Korea. Russians themselves are not even aware of this yet.
The DPRK itself is interested in gaining practical experience in waging modern warfare by observing Russia’s military operations against Ukraine.
This experience could prove useful to Pyongyang if the country decides to launch its own phase of aggression on the Korean Peninsula.
Analysts suggest that Pyongyang sees right now as an opportune moment to act.

- the depletion of military supplies that have until now maintained stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
“Japan and South Korea will have to take on more responsibility for security. One way or another, Pyongyang is ruled by an authoritarian madman who bears a striking resemblance to Putin,” said Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, in a statement.
As a reminder, South Korea has provided Ukraine with a new $100 million aid package.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that Ukrainian intelligence has detected the Kremlin’s preparations for a new wave of mobilization measures this fall. According to him, Russia may also be planning to recruit another 30,000 troops from North Korea for the war against Ukraine.
Russian Presidential Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov refused to confirm or deny reports that Russia may be bringing in another 30,000 troops from North Korea to fight in the war against Ukraine.
