Putin complained to Erdogan about Ukraine over the situation in the Black Sea

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a telephone conversation with dictator Vladimir Putin. During the conversation, Putin expressed concern over Ukraine’s actions in relation to the situation in the Black Sea.

This is reported by Russian propaganda outlets.

What did Putin complain about to Erdogan?

According to Russian media, the key topic of the presidents’ conversation was the “security” of energy infrastructure and civilian shipping in the Black Sea. The discussion of security measures was initiated by the Russian side.

According to information published online, Moscow is currently allegedly concerned about a potential threat to facilities connecting Turkey and Russia, hinting at “dangerous behavior” on the part of Ukraine in this region.

Given the Kyiv regime’s attempts to strike at gas transport infrastructure and merchant ships, the leaders emphasized the importance of coordinated security measures in the Black Sea, according to media reports.

Moreover, Vladimir Putin expressed gratitude to Erdogan for his willingness to assist and cooperate in the negotiation process regarding the war in Ukraine, which Russia itself has no intention of ending.

The Russian and Turkish presidents also discussed the escalation in the Middle East; they reportedly agreed that a war against Iran would have negative consequences, particularly for the energy sector.

At the same time, one of the main topics of discussion was further steps aimed at expanding bilateral relations between the countries, specifically measures to strengthen trade and economic ties between Russia and Turkey.

Putin wants Ukraine to capitulate — Poland’s Foreign Minister.

Ukraine has allowed Poland to search for and exhume the victims of the Volhynia tragedy. In turn, Poland will support Ukraine’s aspirations to join the EU.

Prior to this, Polish Defense Minister Vladislav Kosiniak-Kamysz stated that official Warsaw should not approve Ukraine’s membership in the European Union in the future until the issue regarding the 1943 Volhynia tragedy is resolved.

In December, the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture authorized Poland to conduct exhumation and search operations in the Ternopil and Volyn regions in 2026.
