Putin says he is ready to restore relations with Europe — Anadolu Agency
Russian President Vladimir Putin, of the aggressor state, said that his country, according to him, has no aggressive intentions toward Europe and is ready to restore relations and cooperation with its European neighbors. He said this at a meeting of the military-industrial commission, Anadolu Agency reports.
Statements regarding Europe
Putin accused some European leaders of preparing for war with Moscow. According to him, they are using the war in Ukraine and claims of an alleged Russian threat to justify their policies.
He also criticized military exercises by European countries in the Baltic Sea. Putin claimed that these exercises involve preparations to seize civilian vessels and said that Moscow would be forced to respond if necessary.

Priorities of the armament program
At the meeting, Putin outlined the priorities of Russia's new state armament program, which is to be aimed at modernizing the armed forces and defense industry. He called strengthening the nuclear triad an absolute priority, which, according to him, guarantees the country's sovereignty and maintains the global balance of power.
Putin said that 92% of Russia's Strategic Missile Forces are equipped with modern weapons. Among other areas, he named strengthening air defense, developing unmanned and robotic systems, precision weapons, and completing the formation of an orbital satellite constellation.
According to Putin, the satellite network is to expand the capabilities of space reconnaissance, navigation, communications and broadband internet, as well as provide real-time command and control of troops and weapons.
