Rutte and von der Leyen will meet on September 2 in Brussels
On Wednesday, September 2, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will hold a meeting in Brussels. Following the talks, the leaders will issue a joint statement to the press.
According to a “European Truth” correspondent in Brussels, this was announced by European Commission Chief Spokesperson Paula Piño.
NATO Secretary General Rutte and European Commission President von der Leyen will meet on September 2 at the European Commission’s headquarters in Berlaymont.
“Tomorrow, President von der Leyen will host NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte here in Berlaymont,” Pinho said.
According to her, the officials will make statements to the press at 12:30 p.m. local time, before the meeting begins, the EP reports.
