Russians are flocking to find housing in Yerevan amid rumors of a new mobilization

In Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, demand among Russian citizens for rental housing has surged amid rumors of a possible new wave of mobilization. Local real estate agents report that the number of inquiries from Russians has increased significantly.

According to experts, while previously most clients were people who were already living in Armenia and were simply moving to a new apartment, now about 80% of inquiries come from people who have only recently arrived or are planning to move there. The situation is being compared to that of 2022.

Due to rising demand over the past three months, rental prices in Yerevan have increased by approximately 30%. Real estate agents note that prices may rise even further in the fall.
