Romania issued alerts three times in one day due to Russian air targets
On Thursday, August 13, the Romanian Ministry of Defense issued an air raid alert for the third time that day after detecting aerial targets near the border with Ukraine. Radar systems detected an aerial object that entered the country’s national airspace at 3:17 p.m., approximately 3.5 km southeast of the town of Kilia-Veche.
The object remained in Romanian airspace for about 12 minutes before returning toward Ukraine. While the RO-Alert warning was in effect, Spanish F-18 fighter jets were scrambled to monitor the situation in the sky. The air raid alert in the region ended at 4:28 p.m. The incident occurred during another Russian attack on civilian and port infrastructure in the Odesa region.

As a reminder, on Sunday, August 2, an air raid alert was sounded for the civilian population in eastern Romania for the second time that day. The country’s Ministry of Defense radar surveillance system detected an aerial target near the river border with Ukraine at 3:09 p.m.
In Poland, during a massive Russian missile attack on Ukraine on the night of July 29–30, an air raid alert was issued in part of the Lublin Voivodeship. After the alert ended, a crater approximately 10 meters in diameter and debris from an unidentified object were discovered in a field near the villages of Tarnava-Kolonia and Tokary.
