In Poland, tens of thousands of homes across various regions have lost power due to strong gusts of wind. There are also reports of injuries caused by falling trees and other damage resulting from the storm.
This was reported by RMF24.
In the north of the country, near Gdańsk, rescue workers responded to dozens of calls, clearing trees and structures knocked down by the wind. In one instance, a tree fell onto a railroad track, causing a suspension of train service.

In a village near Gdynia, a tree fell on a passenger car, but no one was injured. In Łódź, a truck driver was injured when a branch fell on him.
In many areas, reports indicate that roof sections were torn off by the wind.

In the Lublin region, at least 30,000 homes were left without power, and in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, at least 3,000.
On Rzeźbiarska Street in Warsaw, firefighters are removing a tree that was blown onto a house’s roof by strong winds.

In Sweden, part of the rail service was suspended due to the storm.
Sweden will transfer Tridon air defense systems to Ukraine to combat drones.
As a reminder, Sweden confirmed the Russian origin of the drone that was spying on a French aircraft carrier.
Sweden also allows for the deployment of nuclear weapons on its territory in the event of war.
