SpaceX Conducted a New Starlink Launch — Space
The American company SpaceX successfully launched a Falcon 9 rocket, which placed another batch of 24 Starlink internet satellites into Earth orbit.
The spacecraft launched from the Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.
According to the industry publication Space.com, the launch took place at 05:46 Kyiv time.
The mission proceeded as planned according to the pre-approved flight schedule. The phased deployment of the satellites into their designated orbit was scheduled to take place 50 minutes after launch.
Company specialists confirmed the proper functioning of all rocket systems during payload deployment.
This launch allowed SpaceX to significantly improve its record of successful space missions and set new historical records.
For the aerospace giant, “this is SpaceX’s 58th mission this year and its 651st successful launch since 2010.”
Such a high launch rate demonstrates the undisputed leadership of Elon Musk’s company in the global commercial space services market.
