The U.S. is preparing Trump's diplomatic tour to China and Turkey

U.S. President Donald Trump said he plans to visit Turkey this year and make another trip to China. He made the remarks during a public event at Andrews Air Force Base. According to him, there will be many international trips in the coming months.

U.S. President Donald Trump announced the expansion of his international diplomatic agenda, emphasizing that this year he intends to visit several key countries at once, including Turkey and China, which indicates an intensification of Washington’s foreign policy engagements amid ongoing global negotiations.

He made these remarks during a speech at Andrews Air Force Base, where a Boeing 747—a gift from Qatar intended for the Air Force One fleet, which the U.S. president uses for official trips and state visits—was unveiled.

Donald Trump emphasized that this year’s international schedule will be busy and includes a series of important meetings with foreign leaders. According to him, a trip to Turkey is planned, as well as a return to China, where he intends to participate in a major international conference.

He also mentioned upcoming contacts with Chinese leadership, noting that Chinese President Xi Jinping is also planning a visit to the U.S. in September. Thus, according to Trump, the bilateral dialogue between Washington and Beijing will continue to develop through reciprocal visits and international meetings scheduled to take place in the coming months. This was reported by Reuters.

The U.S. and China have effectively engaged in a tit-for-tat expulsion of journalists, heightening tensions between the two countries. Washington revoked the visa of a Chinese journalist after Beijing expelled a correspondent for The New York Times.
