U.S. President Donald Trump’s team is considering the possibility of launching a prolonged military campaign against Iran, but the final decision will depend on Tehran’s next moves.
According to sources, the White House is currently analyzing several scenarios for how the situation in the Middle East might unfold, including a military operation lasting up to 30 days.
At the same time, it is noted that no final decision has been made yet, and U.S. President Donald Trump may change his position if Iran demonstrates a willingness to change course.
“The U.S. expects that a new wave of strikes against Iran will last about a month,” reported journalist Barak Ravid.
According to sources, the U.S. administration is continuing active consultations on next steps, assessing the possible consequences of an escalation of the conflict.
As a reminder, last night the U.S. military launched new strikes on Iranian territory. According to preliminary information, about 100 targets were hit, marking another escalation in tensions between Washington and Tehran.
