The U.S. withdrew its F-22 fighter jets from Israel following the war with Iran

The United States has withdrawn at least 10 F-22 stealth fighters from Israel’s Ovda Air Base, where they had been deployed before the start of the war with Iran.

According to media reports, the planes flew to the British RAF Fairford airbase, from where they are expected to return to the U.S. later. Videos of their landing in the United Kingdom have been posted on social media.

The F-22s are in service exclusively with the U.S. Air Force and are considered among the most advanced fighter jets in the world. They are designed to gain air superiority and combine high speed, maneuverability, and stealth technology.

The American aircraft were deployed to Israel on the eve of the recent escalation with Iran.
